5 Day Silent Retreat
• Starting Saturday January 23rd 2009 at 6pm
• Ending Thursday January 28th at 6pm
(departure possible 29th morning)
This Retreat will be in total silence, from Sunday morning to Thursday evening.
This is a residential retreat: in order to participate you must stay in the retreat facility. We will eat 3 very simple ayurvedic meals a day (kidgeree). There will be three (or more) one hour meditation sittings, and a 40 minute yoga class every day, chanting sessions, and two "satsang" style meetings with Arjuna. Dialog in these sessions will be the only speaking in the retreat.
To participate in this retreat you will need to agree not to use a cell phone, computer, telephone or your car during the 5 days.
Costs:
Retreat fee: $500. Pay using one of the buttons below.
Food: 3 vegetarian ayurvedic meals, designed to deepen meditation, $65, payable at the retreat to the cook.
